2009 – The International Year of Astronomy, the year of Charles Darwin's 200 Birthday, a year in which "change" and "hope" are incessantly promised. So far, our highlight of the year was the discovery of this - the best argument yet put forward for the divinity of Jesus.
WORD TELEPATH
Robert R. claimed that he and two neighbors were hearing each other's thoughts and sensing each other's experiences. They have applied for the $50,000 Paranormal Challenge. On December 4, 2008 we received an email from Robert stating, "it was all a hoax theres [sic] no telepathy sorry".
The story gets sticky because Robert and his mother share a single email address and it might have been his mother who had responded. Robert claims that he and his friends do have telepathic abilities and they planned to attend the IIG General Meeting on December 20, 2008 to participate in an Informal Demonstration of their ability. Surprise! They didn't show up.
They will have to wait one year before reapplying. Until such time this investigation is closed.
VISION FROM FEELING
Since it has been sixteen months, let's refresh our memories on Anita Ikonen. Ms. Ikonen submitted an application for the $50,000 Paranormal Challenge, protocol negotiations are ongoing, and her abilities seem to be changing with each contact.
She claims to be able to diagnose various ailments just by looking at an individual without a physical examination. She has posted on the James Randi Educational Foundation forum and has mentioned being able to identify chemical compounds just by looking at them. She has also mentioned that she is more successful diagnosing a person's ailment if the ailment is causing them current pain, but on the forum she said that pain was not necessary. As of January 13th 2009, Anita has stated that she will not require the test subject to be in pain, and that has put protocol negotiation back on track.
Recently, she has also contacted the Winston/Salem North Carolina Skeptics group, headed by Dr. Eric Carlson, about being tested by them. We are now contacting Dr. Carlson about their test, and the results of our potential collaboration will be announced next month.

Our clearing house of information on Eduard Albert "Billy" Meier and his claims of extraterrestrial contact has been updated.
Now that stories of this one handed man have been thoroughly discredited the only mystery remaining is this: why do people still believe him?
